The First State, although a small one, is playing a key role in reenergizing TNF chapters across America. TNF website is being maintained by the Delaware Chapter. This Chapter is actively involved with the neighboring Philadelphia chapter in creating awareness, on humanitarian needs in TamilNadu, among the local community. 

The children and youth ambassador program of TNF started in the First State! Lakshmi Somasundaram, a 10-th grader at Padua Academy, has rallied up her school to support orphan girls at Gurukulam in Vedaranyam.
