Thanks to Maryland Chapter members and Dr. Sithanandam who visited the above home during one of his visits to Madras, construction of one study hall for the benefit of the inmates of the above home as possible.

On April 9th 1995, Mr. C.K. Mohanam was the guest of honor to formally declare open the Study Hall. During the simple function Justice P. Venegopal profusely thanked Dr. S. Sithanandam and all the members of TNF, Inc. who contributed to provide the needs funds for this project.

Mr. Mohanam and Mrs. Padma Mohanam were quite touched seeing the bright inmates of the home who with some financial help could do very well in their studies and take care of themselves in the years to come. They felt that it would be good idea for some of the members to adopt few of the bright inmates by providing for their maintenance expenses. When he returns to the U.S. he promised to encourage few of the members to adopt some of the inmates.
