The fact that this program of awarding scholarship to the deserving has been going on since 1990 is a testimony for the success of this program.

The scholarship was instituted by Mrs. Jumuna Vittal (NJ) way back during 1990 with a corpus fund. The interest accrued was being distributed to the needy and deserving through Tuluva Vellala Association

Tuluva Vellala Association calls for the application for the above scholarship, screens the same, makes a list of candidates and sends the same on to Mrs. Vittal. The approved list is passed on to TNF Board with a suggestion to send the cheque for the scholarship amount. TN Chapter to be forwarded to T V Assn.

This year Mrs. Vittal has donated Rs. 26, 000 to T V Assn. to be distributed as scholarship to deserving student from professional courses.
