For four years in succession, Dr. S. P Vishwanathan (TNF member from TX) has been able to donate through TNF, Inc Rs. 50, 000 to Subrban Hr. Sr. School, Coimbatore. Of this, Rs. 30, 000 was distributed as scholarship to 60 needy and deserving children at Rs. 500 each child.

Rs. 20, 000 was donated to the school for improving the facilities and the school made good use of this amount by proving excellent public address system.

All this began in the years 1991-92 Towards supporting the bright but otherwise poor students of the school and to perpetuate the memory of his grandmother - hos mentor in many ways and a great social service minded lady, Mrs. Savithir Jambunathan. he instituted this scholarship.

Dr. S. P . Vishwanthan by continuosly supporting his old school has earned a place in the hearts of many children who were the benefaciaries and also won many friends in the Parent Teacher Association, which he richly deserves.
