Ram P. Thukkaram , one of our major donors, promised to create a corpus fund of Rs. 5 lacs with Periyar Maniammai College of Technology at Vallam by contributing Rs. 1 lac every year. The first installment of Rs. 1 lac was passed on to the college on May. 12th, 1995 and the second installment was passed on during January 1996.

P M College of Tech for Women, has made good use of the interest accrued out of this donation to conduct Career Guidance Program to the third and fourth year students of this college. With more interest available for the years 1996 and 1997, Vallam College is planning to expand this program to benefit more students.
